There's an ap for That

At the end of August it was so hot that no babies could wear clothes in Kansas! Shoes were optional. {grin}

After kissing Reuben, Julietta noticed some doggies and was off to chase her true loves.

In the meantime Jack was checking out Uncle Miles' new iPhone app - constellation finder.

You hold the phone up to the sky and it shows you what constellations are there.

There's a good one!

I couldn't choose my favorite.

Later that night Miles set up the telescope Grandpa TX got for our family a few years ago. Jack needed lessons on how to use it. {grin}

Jack's awesome jammies could be seen from space.

Look, it's a UFO.

Cutie Pie

Julietta found one of her party favors and dug in for some yummy treats.

I would have taken it away, but she looked so darn cute munching on the candy that instead I took photos.

After all that cuteness and candy Julietta sat down with her very favorite book - Peek a Boo Baby!

The Silver Lining

Well, our dear old Jayhawks aren't doing as well as we'd like this year, but we have found the silver lining in the season -
shorter lines!

Some of the fair weather fans have sat out this season so the lines for the inflatables in the fun zone have decreased.

But we still have to wait until they actually open the gates.

Ella doesn't mind the wait as long as she gets to look cute in line.

And, the gates are open . . .

. . . and they're off.

Down the {piping hot} slide . . .

again and . . .

again.

New recruits, eat your heart out! {grin}

After enjoying the Fun Zone we stopped at the new Oread for a big bowl of ice cream at the sundae bar - Yum!

Flower Girls

Ella is in the first three photos and Liliana is in the last three.

Basking in the Glow of Sunflowers

Sunflower Kid

These are all pretty similar, but I couldn't choose my favorite. I narrowed it down from more than fifty to four - that's not too bad, right? {grin}

He's so cute - sigh.
