After all that we packed up and headed home . . .
. . . in the rain.
For the first time we saw where all the rain went.
On our way back we stopped at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.
After posing for a photo (or two or three) we said "go ahead," and they were off.
We got the last ticket to the top of the arch. What we didn't know was that the ticket was for a teeny weeny pod for a very long ride to the very top of the very tall arch.
Julietta thought it was awesome.
Apparently, so did I.
Once at the top, we looked down.
And this is what we saw . . .
. . . from 630 feet up.
Once we were back on the ground
we took a a few more photos
and drove, and drove, and drove into the rain, back home.
