Party Girl

Julietta finally had her first birthday party. The theme was vintage paper dolls. Aunt Rena helped style the paper doll clothes lines and I made the cake and decorations.

First, Julietta greeted her guests.

Then she directed everyone outdoors where they decorated their own cupcake.

Everyone loved the cupcakes.

After cupcake decorating we lit the candle and sang "Happy Birthday."

Next, Julietta opened gifts.

She was thrilled with every single ONE!

Seriously!

She l.o.v.e.d. her new baby, thought the baby owl was the best, and couldn't wait to break in the care bear themed hockey stick.

Julietta wanted to wear her new shirt while reading her new books.

The LaPoint's gave Julietta a special paper doll gift for her paper doll themed party.

After gifts I gave Julietta a cupcake and this is what she did.

She smashed the cupcake into her face and her little hands did not move until the cupcake was gone. Her big eyes would look around, but her hands and cupcake did not move. It was so hilarious.

Apparently strawberry cupcakes are the yummiest.

After operation cupcake cleanup we opened a few of the new gifts. Julietta seems to be a natural Mommy - she loves her new baby, Molly. She immediately snuggled and cuddled her.

And then took her for a walk.
