Another Alumnus

Yep, he did it - in four years no less. Miles graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering on May 16 {2010} - don't let the {borrowed} tassel fool you.

First, there was am 8 am!! ceremony for the faculty, er, graduates.

Miles shook hands and walked proudly across the stage.

That afternoon he walked down the Campanile. Ella and Liliana acted like groupies.

They were so proud.

The graduate. This photo cracks me up - look at Miles' tassel and it's positioned perfectly for all to see his year of graduation. Wait, it's not 2009! Miles borrowed his roomies' cap and gown and didn't bother to replace the 2009 School of Business tassel. {grin}

"I'm mad at you, Joker, I'm born and now you're leaving me for California!?"

Miles won a National Science Foundation fellowship to study for his PhD in engineering at the University of California Santa Barbara.
