Over Labor Day weekend Derek's parents and sister, Darby came for a visit.

On Saturday, September 5, Grandma and Grandpa took the big kids to Worlds of Fun. We met them there with Julietta after her nap. We found Grandpa, but the rest of the gang were riding the Ferris Wheel. Ella and Liliana are with Roxene in the car in full view and Darby and Jack are in the car above them.

We had lots of fun riding the rides. We tried the Viking Voyager.

I zoomed in on the photo above this one for a better look at the boys coming down the hill.

Here's what the three Keathley-Helms ladies looked like riding the Viking Voager.

And here are the boys.

Next, we got ready for some roller coasters. Ella and Grandpa found the best route . . .

. . . while Jack went on the Finnish Fling.

This ride spins so quickly that it sucks you to the side and then the floor drops from under you - see the floor feet below the blurry spinning bodies!

Then the operator raises the floor back up and slow the ride.

Jack thought the Finnish Fling was pretty awesome.

On our way to the Mamba we stopped to ride the Sea Dragon.

I wasn't scared at all.

But, I screamed so Ella wouldn't feel like she was the only one. {grin}

Finally, we found the Mamba. No pictures from the top - I was too busy screaming. This photo is only of those brave enough to face the dreaded
Mamba.

We found time for games too.

You can even see Liliana's competitiveness from behind! Look at her clenched jaw!
