Julietta had a wonderful second birthday. We started the day with a special breakfast treat. Julietta insisted on wearing her hat. {grin}

She opened her first present - a custom made birthday bib.

Then she refused to blow out a donut birthday candle. {giggle}

She did not refuse to eat her yummy donut.

While she was noshing on the sugary goodness, daddy came home with balloons! I did not get any photos of the balloons, but this was her first look as he came around the corner.

After getting dressed and playing a little, Julietta and I went to the nail salon for her very first manicure. See how much she needed one - that hand is what she showed me when I said "show me your fingernails."

We chose this fun color -
OPI's elephantastic pink. It was so fun that the color we chose fit with our spring safari theme so perfectly - don't you think!?

Julietta was thrilled.

No, really, she had a great time. Okay, I thought these photos were too funny not to post. Julietta was not a fan of the cute manicurist holding my camera taking our photo.

But she was a fan of how good her itty bitty fingernails looked after they were painted with a little flower and crystal on the thumb. Yeah, we're fancy like that.

After her nails dried we talked about how when she was three she might be able to get her first pedicure.

Another look at Julietta's little nails and her cute cupcake bracelet.

After the manicure we met Daddy for lunch. Here we are with Julietta's free birthday dessert - fried ice cream with heaps of whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate syrup.
